How does hydrogen enhancement relate to emissions?

Soot, particulate and unburnt hydrocarbons are products of incomplete combustion. By raising flame speed and burn completeness, hydrogen-oxygen enhancement targets that incomplete fraction. Factory after-treatment — DPF, EGR and SCR — is left entirely intact, and the unit is not an emissions-control device or a compliance product.

How to test an emissions change.

  1. 1. Record a baseline with the same instrument and technician you will use afterwards — free-acceleration opacity for road diesels, or analyser readings at fixed load points for gensets.
  2. 2. Note engine temperature, ambient conditions and fuel batch; all three move readings.
  3. 3. Fit and commission the matched unit per the installation guide.
  4. 4. Allow normal operation to settle, then repeat the identical test procedure.
  5. 5. Report absolute readings and test conditions — not percentage claims without the underlying numbers.

Scope

What we will not claim.

We do not claim regulatory compliance, emissions certification, or that fitting a unit will clear a defect notice or pass a specific test regime.

We do not publish emissions percentages that we cannot tie to a named operator, a stated instrument and a stated test condition. Where such reports are cleared for publication they appear on field results.

Fleet operators who want emissions measured alongside fuel data should run a structured fleet trial.

Questions.

Which emissions does more complete combustion affect?

Products of incomplete combustion — smoke opacity, particulate and unburnt hydrocarbons — are the outputs most closely tied to burn completeness. Any change should be verified with an opacity meter or gas analyser on your own engine before it is reported.

Does the unit interfere with a DPF, EGR or SCR system?

No. Nothing is removed, bypassed or reprogrammed. The gas enters through the intake air path only, and the exhaust after-treatment continues to operate exactly as delivered by the engine manufacturer.

Does the unit itself produce emissions?

The unit produces hydrogen and oxygen from purified water and consumes electrical power from the engine's alternator. There is no combustion inside the unit and no exhaust stream from it.

Can this be used to pass an emissions test or defect notice?

We make no compliance claim. The unit is a combustion aid, not an emissions-control device, and it does not certify an engine against any standard. Consult your regulator or testing authority for anything test-related.
